
We spent most of the float on the river, yet some of the float was spent crashing into trees and bushes along the way, but Todd saved us, and I only got drenched twice - two more times than anybody else...

The next day, we traveled to the property where I grew up, which is constantly changing with all the new development, but it still gets me feeling all nostalgic. There are a few places I consider my home, but this is where I actually did my growing up.

There was a lot of talk of Todd and I moving back out here and I have to admit that it's really tempting, but I think I've turned into a Salt Lake City girl, I love my theater, art galleries, mountains and shopping, of course. But as Maya Angelou has said "You can never go home again, but the truth is you can never leave home, so it's all right"

wow! i love your blog so far! and the old home stuff........well, we made a lot of memories there.....mostly, me talking to your cows and stepping on a nail that went through my foot, and smoking winstons in the drainage ditch.......ahhh
